Connect more deeply to the energy of all that is, connect more deeply to yourself.
Found Oracles is a project of the Bailey Sends Word Storytelling Studio. Each oracle card you’ll find in this interactive collection has whispered a story about the human experience that’s as old as time, yet as modern as you and me.
Here, you are of the world, not set apart from it.
Here, you are connected to the universe and everything within, not inconsequential to it.
Whichever oracles are your favorite or whichever call for your attention are the ones with stories for you right now. There are no coincidences, only energy.

About
The Pickle is the oracle that started it all.
What is a found oracle?
found oracle (n): Any object, symbol, person, or story that speaks to you with unexpected truth is an oracle. These oracles of the everyday world provide a mirror to see yourself more clearly: your unique power, impact, and magic - as revealed through the eyes of the universe.
Like the found art movement, found oracles are commonplace objects with unexpectedly profound meanings. The objects and stories of the everyday world speak to us all the time in their own secret language of symbolism and deeper meaning. Those who pause to listen and engage with the messages of these “found oracles” can use them to direct their energy and emotions, connecting them more deeply with themselves, others, and all that is.
Found Oracles share messages and inspiration for your daily intuitive and creative practices.

Meet Bailey Lewis
The storytelling artist behind Found Oracles.
Hello hello - I’m Bailey!
I'm an award-winning, multimedia storyteller (MFA Creative Writing with distinction, University of South Carolina). I combine words, images, and physical materials to create intuitive and collective story experiences.
My work explores the collective and individual stories we live by - the plot lines that are as old as myth itself yet as modern as you and me. The stories we tell ourselves shape our reality, so I believe we need more stories that help us to see and celebrate ourselves more, give us words for our experiences, and remind us of our connection to ourselves, the world, and all that is.
I’m interested in what happens when the mythic collides with modern life. I'm always drawn to that magic seam that runs just beneath our common human experience.
Over my 20+ years as a storyteller, my work has been published in many literary magazines, named a winner of multiple national storytelling contests, honored as a recipient of several grants and fellowships, shown at exhibitions across the country, listed in Wigleaf's Best of the Web, and nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
Found Oracles is one of my public storytelling art projects out of my story studio. While you're here, make sure to pick a card and read its story for you today, and subscribe to my daily story emails for stories about being human from unexpected objects and messengers in the everyday world.
