The Enchilada Oracle
You find yourself on the far side of the galaxy, floating in space, drawn toward the glowing light of your own home star clusters. In a woosh of light and stars and speed, a space craft moves alongside you, seemingly out of nowhere. Somehow, you know you must hitch a ride on board this star ship. You can’t explain it, but you know it contains something important for you, right here and now.
Grabbing onto a port door as it passes, you stand on the side of the ship as it zooms through space. The door parts ever so slightly, and you’re sucked inside the ship’s vast interior. You feel no fear because it smells like… cheese and spice and tomatoes and something warm in here. Walking further into the ship, the first room you enter is a kitchen. There, the ancient spirit of an enchilada is waiting for you with a heaping plate.

The Enchilada Oracle says:
People love when you’re around because you bring everything with you. You bring the warmth, you bring the fun, you bring the understanding, you bring the listening ear, you bring the fresh energy, you bring the wisdom, you bring the peace and calm and grounding. You make them feel good, and safe, and full, and happy.
The sheer variety of what you give to others is part of your secret recipe, and why they’re always coming back for more. Each experience they have with you comes with its own side. Now a squeeze of lime. Now a dollop of sour cream… How about some fresh cilantro? And a second type of cheese!
So of course they love it. Yours is the gift that doesn’t stop. Layer after layer of comfort and warmth lines their table when you sit there. You pile their plates high and make sure they always get more than enough, and that they never get tired of the same old sauce. You come with the full package. You bring the whole enchilada. It’s just the freely generous kind of person that you are.
But… who makes you enchiladas? Where is your enchilada? When do you get to sit down at the table and have someone else bring you a heaping plate of cheese and beans and tortilla and all of your favorite toppings just for you?
Who makes sure you eat your fill, too?
Maybe they don’t make enchiladas. That’s okay. They might make you a chimichanga. Tamales. Burritos or tacos or chiles rellenos? A flan, even to accompany your enchilada.
I hope someone immediately comes to mind. I hope everyone you share yourself with comes to mind when you think about who reciprocates your deliciousness right back to you. People who want you to have the first slice, and the best piece. Who offer you the largest serving of your own good stuff. Who make sure you have the hot sauce you like and that your beans aren’t cold and that your drink never runs dry. Heck, they don’t even care if you want to make a whole enchilada and eat the entire thing yourself. They have their own ingredients, their own oven, their own sauce. They’re fine when you enjoy your good cooking for yourself.
And if no one comes to mind - they’re out there. In the vast galaxy, there are many who see and appreciate your value and will contribute right back to it. Your recipes may be different, but the literal feast of gifts and good energy they bring with them everywhere will match your own.
You can spot them easily because you’ll show up with your dish and they’ll show up with theirs and instantly, it’s a fiesta.
